From USA To UAE, Police Are Finding It Cool To Acquire Customized Cars

The formality with which police forces all over the world practice their trade allows very little room for anything that may be perceived as play.

Lately, however, several police departments have scaled down the formality and taken up some fun adding to their fleet police cars that are stylish, thereby sending a strong fashion statement. Recently, we saw the Miami Police Department gladly accepting the gift of a three-wheeled Polaris Slingshot that is not only epic in style but also cool and attractive enough to make kids like the police and perhaps open up more.

It is now the chance of Queensland Police to show off with a brand new customized Kia Stinger making it the first police force to use this magnificent machine. Interestingly, the police force has ordered 50 of these cars to be delivered through 2019.

One of the characteristics that make the Stinger police friendly is the twin-turbo VG engine that allows superior driving dynamics that the police force find enormously effective. It is reported that Western Australia has ordered a fleet of 50 300S liftbacks.

They offer 272 kW of power and 510 Nm of torque from making it a good and powerful performer suitable for the police force. It is also powered by a turbocharged 2.0 liter four-cylinder producing 255 hp while the twin-turbo VG, 3.3 liter delivers 365 horsepower.

These two engines are s a twin-turbo 3.3-liter V-6 good for 365 horsepower. Both engines feature rear-wheel drive as standard revving up with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Such characteristics have swiftly endeared the car to the police

Further afield in Dubai, the Abu Dhabi police hold the World’s Guinness Record for having the fastest police car, a Bugatti Veyron, which is just an addition to its flamboyant fleet of supercars. The inspiration probably is the ever-rising number of super fast cars in this part of the world and of course a show of petroleum affluence.

This trend is just picking up. While police forces are looking for excellent road performance, we cannot rule out their eagerness to demystify their sense of style, style and catching up with the trend.
