Super Comfort In The Acura MDX Sport Hybrid SUV
This Acura was built as a sporty family car
The Acura MDX is a luxury SUV that can seat up to seven in three rows. You can have it either in a regular or Sport Hybrid form.
The regular MDX is powered by a 290-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 engine that works with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The MDX Sport Hybrid has a combined 321 hp with a 3.0-liter V-6, a collection of electric motors and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.
The MDX can have front- or all-wheel drive. In the same class as this great car are rivals including the Buick Enclave and Infiniti QX60.
As it is with modern cars in the class of the Acura MDX, there is plenty of technology taking it several inches to compete vigorously. For 2019 front seats now come with standard four-way power-adjustable lumbar support.
The MDX’s available all-wheel-drive system includes the torque-vectoring capability for highly improved handling. The SUV further brings some commendable safety features as standard.
These include forward-collision warning alongside automatic emergency braking as well as lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist and finally adaptive cruise control. Through the MDX Advance, you get access to five USB ports: three under the front armrest console and two behind the console for rear passengers.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, but the image is displayed on the top screen. Taking things a little further is the voice control system that recognizes speech quite clearly and navigation instructions are easily understood.
We see that this a vehicle that isn’t struggling to fit in its class or even compete well. With these new advances, it has little homework to do on sales and marketing before it scales high on the radar.
